Scholarship..

Under the request of a friend of mine via MSN, I will be posting about scholarships that are offered this year as my first review. I have selected certain scholarship that are appealing. Without further ado, here it is!! =D

ASEAN Foundation Research Scholarship
This scholarship is a collaboration between the ASEAN Foundation and the National University of Singapore (NUS). It is available for ASEAN nationals (except Singapore citizen and premanent residents). The field of studies for this scholarship is Developmental Studies, Environment, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Requirement

1. Hold good bachelor degree
2. Possess strong academic record
3. Satisfy other admin requirement of NUS
4. Submit valid Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores and results respectively - for those who does not have English native tongue or medium of university is not in English
5. Agree to return and/or serve for at least 2 years in any ASEAN country after completing studies

HONDA Dreams Fund 2008 For Youths – DREAM TO GRAB
For this one, you need to fill in an application form and complere an essay. Information on application is at http://www.honda.com.my/hdf/06application_1.html

Requirement

1. Age 17-24 years old
2. At least completed SPM or STPM
3. Have combined household income of RM1, 500 or less
4. Medically fit
5. Not on bond/holding any other scholarship/receiving financial assistance from other organization

Global Scholarship Award
This particular scholarship has been mentioned in detail in another blog. Even though the deadline is over, it does not hurt to consider this one at a later time because the criteria is rather interesting.

SCHOLARSHIP IN UNITED KINGDOM
